In the heat of Battle
Ben was driving in round one and did a damn fine job. |
Darn it
That piece of metal there is our ramp. After we exchanged hits we slid into the cage's spinning blade. We lost our ramp and our blade was bent rendering it useless. |

Astounding!
Amazingly Ben kept control and pushed GoudaBot all over the cage, slamming it into walls but to our dismay we were ruled the losers because of the damage we took. |
Here's where our ramp was.
A judge came over afterword and warned us that if we reattached the ramp and it fell off again we would be charged as damage so if it wasn't stable we should leave it off. So we left it off for round two.

Damage
Here's where the spinning bar hit us, knocked that rear pannel a quarter inch, no problem.
We did cause some damage to the other bot before our blade stopped spinning. We took a chunk out of one of the sides, unfortunately it wasn't visible to the judges so no points for us. |

Because I was driving this round I don't have any pictures of the round in action. But first I'll show you what we did to them. This is the tip of there short spinning weapon afterword, bent it a little at least.

Our blade is a scary thing
This big gash is from our blade that we hastily straightened for this round. Impressive isn't it, it went all the way through.
